A few to start off.  Not a "Fairytale" day, but you can't have everything. :D

+1, great prop circle shot, that was nice.  The A-10 static shot is good too, but nothing ruins a good shot like a couple of lawn chairs :-\

I was wondering the same thing. What went wrong there? Was it really windy or something? No one seems to be saying a whole lot.

Overall, we just didn't get excitement you usually get at a good airshow .  The F-5 didn't fly, we got sandblasted left and right, and the wind was just unforgiving.  They had little "filler" things flying such as the model planes and the Jelly Belly.  You know its bad when Ken asks you to wake him up when the F-16 gets ready to do its demo, which by the way, was middling at best.  He literally could've taken a nap for an hour or two.  Worth the 645 mile round trip?  Hardly.

Agreed.  Not to mention the gentleman standing to left, who was staring at the plane nonchalantly and oblivious to my presence.  I patiently stood there and kindly gestured to him that I was taking photos, but he wouldn't budge.  Another reason why it was so frustrating; you have to deal with all the people, but this just topped the cake.  They just stand right in front of whatever you're photographing like their lives depend on it.
