Have we figured out what the F-16 are there for or what Calspan's doing to them?  Not drones since BAE is down the tarmac and around at the corner.

Gotta just love the Mojave flightline...

Calspan's 3 F-16s were all out of the barn, with WK2 getting ready for tomorrow's flight to NM for the Spaceport America groundbreaking

Cool! I gave up shooting at LAX to shoot WK2's departure, but it left earlier than what I'd been told would be its departure time.

Well they don't want is photographed at William's Gateway Aiport on the ground.  So those guys are waiting for its departure.  Joe Stremph got some good shots of its arrival and taxing.

Burt and crew hardly ever want their stuff photographed. You get used to that after a while and just shoot away.

Looks like FlightAware is calling arrival time for back in Mojave today at 10:41, smack-dab in the middle of today's Plane Crazy fly-in and car show! Should make for some good pics...

Mark today down as WK2's airshow debut (I believe they'd been billing Oshkosh as the debut). Kinda ironic how things were handled in Phoenix, with such an emphasis on "no pictures". WK2 showed up high overhead at about 11am, slowly circled down, and then, very unexpectedly, did a low pass right down Rwy 26, in front of the crowd. They circled around for a second low pass down 30, then landed and taxied right in front of the crowd...

Great shots Alan! While you had a front-row seat, I was out in the sticks.  <laughing>
