At approximately 1:35 p.m., two F-18 fighter jets landed at LB Airport. Due to the prevailing winds, the Airport was operating in reverse conditions as the jets arrived. Under reverse conditions, aircraft arrivals and departures occur in a north-south direction, from Carson Street towards Spring Street. The two arriving jets were instructed to circle and then land from the north.  We have been advised that these two jets will depart and return back to LB Airport before 7:00 p.m. Please note that the airport is not given advance notice on military operations <tcat>
