Longbow Apache departing the Transformers 3 set today.

Any idea where it was going? A buddy of mine was in Cabazon this afternoon and called me saying he was shocked to see a fully loaded AH-64 flying right down the 10 freeway. He'd never seen one loaded... we actually rarely EVER see an Apache around here.

An AN-124 (Antonov 124) aircraft arrived this afternoon, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 on Runway 30.  Departure is scheduled for Wednesday, July 7, 2010, after 9:00 a.m., on Runway 12.  Use of Runway 12 indicates the aircraft will depart in a SE pattern, instead of the standard NW pattern.

The AN-124 is a large aircraft, usually white with blue markings, and will be noticeable as it passes overhead.  The noise footprint of the aircraft is similar to a C-17.
