You can post all events that aren't related to aviation on this board. Please use the following format for your post.

Subject: Event Name - Month/Days/Year
Example: 2007 Torrance Armed Forces Day Parade - May 18-20, 2008

In the post's body, make sure to include all the necessary information, such as location, times, a description of the event and a link to the event site. You might also want to let the other members if you will be attending.

    EXHIBITS: Military exhibits on display, including aircrafts, vehicles, and support equipment

    SATURDAY, MAY 19
    PARADE: Grand Marshal General Chilton of the United States Air Force, the honored service for this year's parade will continue the
    tradition of honoring the men and women of our Armed Forces
    1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
    Along Torrance Boulevard from downtown Torrance and end at the City Hall.

    This year, the tradition continues in Torrance where the community gathers to honor and thank the nation's Armed Forces for their
    generous and selfless acts.  Torrance's parade is the longest-running Armed Forces Day Parade in the nation.  As one of few cities
    designated by the Department of Defense, the City of Torrance is proud to honor the men and women of our nation's Armed Forces.
    This year, the Parade will be led by General Kevin P. Chilton of the United States Air Force, the honored branch.

I will be attending, and will probably be at the Torrance Blvd and Maple intersection.
