Wasn't quite sure where to put these, since there are no a/c in them. Anyways, here are some shots I took from Fox Field late tonight.

Incredible stuff man.  Really, this makes my PV fire captures look like child's play.

Thoughts and Prayers to the two firefighters that lost their lives yesterday 8/30/09.

From El Segudo.  Saturday night I could see the fire lines from Harbor Hills on Western Ave.

*Whistle*  Looks like a volcano erupted, and some great detail on that smoke.  What a view that plane flying downwind on final to LAX must be getting!  Nice ones Damon! ;)

Thanks, I think I have it under the correct fire.  It was take from the shopping center in El Segudo with the Whole Foods, Best Buys, and Dicks on Sepulveda.  Out here at work now the smoke has laid down and looks sort of like fog but brownish gray.

Yeah I remember seeing the smoke like that too....  yesterday the smoke was so high.

A little paradise and natural disaster all in one.  I had some clients drive down from Palmdale this afternoon and they said it was quite the sight to see going into LA.  Cool shot Fernando! ;)

I just saw the Evergreen 747 coming in to fight the Station Fire. I also heard they are going to bring in the second DC10.

Canon stuff.

Yeah I bet LA looks crazy with all this smoke... kinda like that movie Independence Day.    >:D

Where is the 747 being based at I wonder.  Victorville/George AFB(Fmr)  I thought they were using both DC-10's arleady.   Where did you see it G?
