Just got back from a day and a half (Fri-Sat AM) out at EC. Will have photos up soon, but here's the rundown on what I got: three color birds on Fri - blue tailed Harrier, VMFA-323 boss (was on display at Miramar last year), and the all-white VFA-125 Hornet  <rocker>. VMFA-323 had four Bugs on Friday, left late that day, did not return. Blue tailed Harrier and white Bug were still there as of this morning.

Also, about 40 T-45s (if I see another one, I'll.......well nevermind, lol), my first Growler (VAQ-129 low vis plain jane), some VMFAT-101 Sharpshooter Hornets (one of which appeared to have a kill mark on it), some AD tail coded Bugs, and bunches of Marine helos - 4-5 Cobras, two hueys, six Chinooks. A USMC VIP transport showed up late Fri, left this morning.

Weather & lighting started out good on Friday morning, but got worse as the day progress (thin white clouds, which ruined many shots) and became flat out overcast at times. They switched the pattern in the late afternoon, so I managed to get some takeoff shots from the end of Aten. Bright & sunny this morning, looked like it was gonna stay that way. Looks like the dirt roads are drying out.

Keith, how did you guys do out there?

Keith,

Yeah there were 4 T-45s out there. Departed shortly before the P-38 demo, which ended up not taking place until after 2.
