Just a Heads up, Saudi 747SP is inbound to KLAX due in @ 5:38pm , it usually lands rwy25L

No, it's the one closest to the Hill. The runways over by In-and-Out are 24L & R

When Midnight Mover and I were there last time, we actually went into the Atlantic Terminal and saw her right behind the glass doorway.  Oh, how dumb we were not to snap any shots of this beauty!!  ::)

Awesome stuff man!  Great lightning too, I love shooting early in the evening when smog has faded away against the blue sky.

Not to mention when the sun stops being a mega super bright wash out and starts turning to golden hues  8)

I was in the area and was able to catch the other side.....my settings were off on the D90 so had to fix it.

Hey robin990, where was that shot taken from?  There's a parking lot just to the north of 25R where you can see the planes making that final turn onto the runway.  Good capture btw  ;)
