Torrance 4th of July Celebration at Charles Wilson Park 2009

The City of Torrance Community Services Department provides an Annual Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration at Charles Wilson Park, 2200 Crenshaw Boulevard, Torrance, beginning at 11:00 AM and culminating at 9:00 PM with a spectacular fireworks display.


Throughout the day the entire family can enjoy arts & crafts, food and game booths, free mini-steamer train rides, contests and continuous entertainment.  There is no admission charge to the celebration; all are invited to come early and stay late. This program is sponsored by the City of Torrance Community Services Department.  

There will be a $5.00 fee for on-site parking at Wilson Park. There will be FREE parking at designated locations in the Del Amo Fashion Center and Torrance Civic Center. Take advantage of FREE SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION from those locations to Wilson Park; the free shuttle will ease congestion at Wilson Park.

REMEMBER: Alcohol, fireworks and dogs are prohibited in the park :'(
