The air show was great. Wings and Rotors had the Huey there and we had lots of company. We flew out with the H21 from Classic Rotors. On the way home, since we were all going the same way-the Marines from Pendleton flew back with us up the coast. Here are some pictures I took and a couple my husband Scott took,,we passed the camera back in forth in the Huey,,,being careful not to drop it out the door!! Scott was facing the ocean so the sun was kinda in his face,, I was sitting in the left door so the shots I got have a little better light. Not too bad considering we were in a Huey going about 90 knots in formation!

Great shots  ;D

WARBIRD KEITH

Shayne, those are some nice shots you have there! Good Job! <thumbup> <thumbup> <thumbup>

Thanks Keith,, I just got a new camera when I was up at Whidbey Island in the Navy exchange-thay had a bigger selection than Best Buy,, plus no tax!  <angel>

anyway,,got a few pics sent to me from one of the Marine Huey guys,, there OK,, but they had smaller cameras. I am still waiting to find out what squadron the Cobra was from involved in the accident-my heart is saddened by the event...so sad....

anyway-- looks like we are heading to Norfolk for New Years,,,goig to paint a Seahawk for HSC-9!

take care

The Marine Cobra that crashed with the CG C-130 was from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 at MCAS Camp Pendleton.
