Zoom to 400mm should do fine. That way you'll get it coming off the runway, then pull back as it comes overhead.

I'm currently working with a 300mm, you think that should be good enough or not?

Should be fine! If you plan to sit out and wait, though, make sure you bring water...it's gonna be hot this week!

Thanks, it was nice to be there for the Stealth Sunset back in April.  If anyone goes, get some shots, it your"last chance" to see the Stealth fly.  :(

Just to be clear - today Mon August 11, 2008 the last F-117A left KPMD en route to Tonopah Test Range.
