[READ FIRST] Event Posting Guidlines

You can post all events that are related to aviation on this board. Please use the following format for your post.

Subject: Event Name - Year
Example: Miramar Air Show 2009


In the post's body, make sure to include all the necessary information, such as location, times, a description of the event and a link to the event site. You might also want to let the other members if you will be attending.
Example:
Miramar Air Show 2009

Day Shows: Open to the public Oct 12, 13 and 14;
            Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Gates open at 8 a.m.
            Twilight Air Show: Saturday, Oct. 13, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
   
FEATURES: Nearly seven hours of performances by the world's best military and civilian pilots, including:

DAY SHOW: The Thunderbirds – the world-famous U.S. Air Force Jet Demonstration Squadron.
            MAGTF Demo – Marine Air/Ground Task Force assault on the flightline.
            Military Performers – AV-8B Harrier, F-16 Falcon, F-22 Rapscor and U.S. Army Golden Knights, F-15 Eagle and F/A-18 E/F
                 Super Hornet.

TWILIGHT SHOW: Enjoy an explosive night highlighted by:
                    "Red Bull Meteor" – Firestorm in the sky by the Russian MiG-17F.
                    Shockwave Peterbilt Jet Truck
                    Fireworks and the Great Wall of Fire – an intense inferno

ATTRACTIONS: More than 100 military and civilian display aircraft to explore.
                Simulation rides that beckon the adventurous to step into the cockpit.
                A Consumer Fair showcasing several local businesses.
                Novelties and wearables for purchase as gifts or souvenirs.
                A variety of delicious food and beverages.

LOCATION: Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego.
           Enter from Miramar Road or Miramar Way off Interstate 15.
           Enter from Miramar Road off Interstate 805.
