Bob Alvis – local Antelope Valley Railfan and Historianwill give a presentation at 11 a.m.'Rail-fanning in the Antelope Valley, circa 1970's'

Bob was born in Lancaster in the old Community Hospital that used to be on the corner of Lancaster Blvd. and Cedar Avenue. He attended Quartz Hill High and was always interested in airplanes and trains! He was part of a Railfanning group in high school and has many photos and stories about the trains around Antelope Valley in the 1970's. Come on out and go back in time with Bob. He might even tell us a little about the

'P-38 Association' that he is active in too!  It was Bob Alvis that helped our dear friend WASP Flora Belle Reece get the piggy-back ride in a P-38 back in 2004!!

This is a historical aircraft display day and free family 'educational' event – kids are especially welcome!

Local area pilots will display their unique one-of-a-kind and historic aircraft!
Fly in and display your aircraft and enjoy visiting with people who speak aviation!
Walk in traffic enter through Voyager Restaurant.
Bring your camera, take lots of photos and visit with some of Mojave Airport's famous pilots!
Wen Painter will be on hand in the Voyager Restaurant to sign Tax-exempt forms for pilots!

Breakfast and lunch is available in the Voyager Restaurant. Opens 8 a.m.!

NO DOGS OR OTHER Animals ON FLIGHT LINE!!!  EXCEPT FOR SERVICE ANIMALS
