I went and dined on Food Truck Monday in Mira Mesa. I had a repeat of the Super Q  Pork Melt BBQ Sandwich. It was delicious. This time there was no hot stuff used when they made it. A plan Jane sandwich the way I like it. The wedge french fries were great and I washed it all down with a Snapple Iced Tea. All totaled $14.09. I believe was worth my time to drive over to the Mirs Mesa High School Parking Lot on Mira Mesa Boulivard, in San Diego.

About a 1 mile drive.

Pretty much all food trucks have some kind of logo or theme.  Wraps are used quite a bit and are easier that painting and they can just do the graphics on a computer and design it around the type of truck, windows, doors, openings etc.  Some are pretty unique and others just plain.

There have been quite a few food trucks from both LA and OC in the previous seasons.  Nom Nom was in season 1 with some cute service girls and tasty sandwiches.  Both Sea Birds and Lime truck were in season 2.  I've eaten from both.  Limes Hibiscus Ice Tea is refreshing and everything on the menue else is really good too.  Sea Bird is vegan (how I ate vegan is still a mystery), and my wife liked them too.  I know Lime truck won season 2, but I forgot who won season 1.  I think the truck was from the OC, but maybe they were from LA.

San Diego has had their own trucks for a couple years.  We even get the LA/OC trucks down every so often.
