My 3rd favorite warbird. The Trojan. I only see T-28's at Airshows or when I visit the Planes of Fame Air Museum. Santa Monica used to have them when the Museum of Flying was in business. It has the same engine as the SBD Dauntless and the FM-2 Wildcat.

G'day Aviation Photographers of Southern California.  Can anyone provide some guidance as to how I might be able to get a high resolution image file of one of the beautiful T-28 Trojan's photos posted by Eric Van Gilder on this thread?  I am in Sydney, Australia and a retired member of the Royal Australian Air Force (though I was seconded into the USAF for a short while at Sacramento) and I would like to frame one of these images to give to an old friend. As I have registered on your forum, I think you can email me.  Thank you

Thanks Chris, I have PM'd Eric but as he has not been active on this forum for some years I am a little concerned he will not receive my request. I have also sent a request through Airplane-pictures.net where another version of his image is hosted, no replies yet but I have my fingers crossed. They are awsome photos and he obviously loved his work.
