Barbara H. Schultz grew up in Coalinga, California. She attended the University of Southern California and has a Master's degree in Educational Psychology. Researching aviation history has been her primary passion for over 25 years.

She has been a private pilot since 1978 and lives with her husband on their own airport, Little Buttes Airpark, near Lancaster, CA. Her first airplane was a 1950 Cessna 140A, which they still own, along with a Beech 18 and several other aircraft.

Flying Carpets, Flying Wings is a biography about Moye W. Stephens, his friends, and his achievements in aviation. During the 1920s, Moye flew with Eddie Bellande, Jack Northrop, Allan Hancock, Howard Hughes, William Boeing and many other aviation notables. This led to a career flying Ford trimotors for Maddux, TAT, T&WA. From 1930 to 1932, Moye flew author Richard Halliburton around the world in a Stearman C-3B named the Flying Carpet. This is the first and only factual narrative of that flight. In 1939, Moye was one of a select few who founded Northrop Corporation when he flew several Northop prototypes including the N-1M flying wing. Moye's well-researched and definitive biography covers nearly 80 years of aviation history. Pictures are interspersed throughout the text - some photos have never been published before.

PANCHO: THE BIOGRAPHY OF FLORENCE LOWE BARNES details the life of one of Aviation's most colorful members. In the 1920's, Pancho Barnes barnstormed her way through the skies to become one of the best, capturing the women's speed record in 1930. Among those who respected Poncho, for both her character and her abilities, were Amelia Earnhart, Louise Thaden, and Gen. James Doolittle.

Everyone is welcome to stroll through Legacy Park where replicas of SpaceShipOne
and a large RC model of Voyager are on display.

This is a historical aircraft display day and free family 'educational' event –
kids are especially welcome!

Local area pilots will display their unique one-of-a-kind and historic aircraft!
Fly in and display your aircraft and enjoy visiting with people who speak aviation!
Walk in traffic enter through Voyager Restaurant.
Bring your camera, take lots of photos and visit with some of Mojave Airport's famous pilots!
Wen Painter will be on hand in the Voyager Restaurant to sign Tax-exempt forms for pilots!

Doors will be open between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Restaurant opens at 8 a.m.) If the weather permits our booths to be outside, aircraft, space collectibles and artworks will be available for sale and viewing.

We are not allowed to set up inside the building anymore. If you have a booth, call first for weather report. 661.342.0604. If weather is too cold, windy or rainy, there will be no booths – BUT we will display aircraft and there will be the speaker presentation!

Breakfast and lunch is available in the Voyager Restaurant. Opens 8 a.m.!

CAP Composite Squadron 84 Edwards AFB will be conducting our Flightline Safety again this month. We want all pilots to be sure to alert the CAP before they go to their aircraft to start the engine for departure, to keep all of our visitors safe! Thank you!
