One of the first things that I did when I found out that I was traveling to Montreal for work, was find out how good the shooting is at CYUL.  And while it is no LAX or Toronto, it does offer much more then my home airport of KSAN.

The big draw for me with this airport is AF346, non-stop service from Paris to Montreal-Tredeau using the A380!!  I know this is nothing new for you LAX guys, but up until this trip I'd never even seen one in person (at Toronto our little Air Canada A319 parked right next to a Emrites A380, talk about your size difference).  So I've been waiting to see this guy fly for a while and i finally got the chance today.  Even after a 2.5 hour delay when the flight had to turn around and go back to Paris, I stuck around (also it doesn't hurt that my hotel is 3 minutes away).  Hopefully the winds will change direction soon, because i can get a even better shot when it lands towards the west.

Does anyone know if this is the first A380 Air France shots on APSoCal?
