Practical Explanation ( For Example ) :- `1st of all can you tell me every single seconds detail from that time when you born ?? ( i need every seconds detail ?? that what- what you have thought and done on every single second )
can you tell me every single detail of your `1 cheapest Minute Or your whole hour, day, week, month, year or your whole life ??
if you are not able to tell me about this life then what proof do you have that you didn't forget your past ? and that you will not forget this present life in the future ?
that is Fact that Supreme Lord Krishna exists but we posses no such intelligence to understand him.
there is also next life. and i already proved you that no scientist, no politician, no so-called intelligent man in this world is able to understand this Truth. cuz they are imagining. and you cannot imagine what is god, who is god, what is after life etc.
_______
for example :Your father existed before your birth. you cannot say that before your birth your father don,t exists.
So you have to ask from mother, "Who is my father?" And if she says, "This gentleman is your father," then it is all right. It is easy.
Otherwise, if you makes research, "Who is my father?" go on searching for life; you'll never find your father.
( now maybe...maybe you will say that i will search my father from D.N.A, or i will prove it by photo's, or many other thing's which i will get from my mother and prove it that who is my Real father.{ So you have to believe the authority. who is that authority ? she is your mother. you cannot claim of any photo's, D.N.A or many other things without authority ( or ur mother ).
if you will show D.N.A, photo's, and many other proofs from other women then your mother. then what is use of those proofs ??} )
same you have to follow real authority. "Whatever You have spoken, I accept it," Then there is no difficulty. And You are accepted by Devala, Narada, Vyasa, and You are speaking Yourself, and later on, all the acaryas have accepted. Then I'll follow.
I'll have to follow great personalities. The same reason mother says, this gentleman is my father. That's all. Finish business. Where is the necessity of making research? All authorities accept Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You accept it; then your searching after God is finished.
Why should you waste your time?
_______
all that is you need is to hear from authority ( same like mother ). and i heard this truth from authority " Srila Prabhupada " he is my spiritual master.
im not talking these all things from my own.
___________
in this world no `1 can be Peace full. this is all along Fact.
cuz we all are suffering in this world 4 Problems which are Disease, Old age, Death, and Birth after Birth.
tell me are you really happy ?? you can,t be happy if you will ignore these 4 main problem. then still you will be Forced by Nature.
___________________
if you really want to be happy then follow these 6 Things which are No illicit sex, No gambling, No drugs ( No tea & coffee ), No meat-eating ( No onion & garlic's )
5th thing is whatever you eat `1st offer it to Supreme Lord Krishna. ( if you know it what is Guru parama-para then offer them food not direct Supreme Lord Krishna )
and 6th " Main Thing " is you have to Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare ".
_______________________________
If your not able to follow these 4 things no illicit sex, no gambling, no drugs, no meat-eating then don,t worry but chanting of this holy name ( Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra ) is very-very and very important.
Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare " and be happy.
if you still don,t believe on me then chant any other name for 5 Min's and chant this holy name for 5 Min's and you will see effect. i promise you it works And chanting at least 16 rounds ( each round of 108 beads ) of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily.
____________
Here is no Question of Holy Books quotes, Personal Experiences, Faith or Belief. i accept that Sometimes Faith is also Blind. Here is already Practical explanation which already proved that every`1 else in this world is nothing more then Busy Foolish and totally idiot.

every `1 is already Blind in this world and if you will follow another Blind then you both will fall in hole. so try to follow that person who have Spiritual Eyes who can Guide you on Actual Right Path. ( my Authority & Guide is my Spiritual Master " Srila Prabhupada " )

One of my favorite places to plane spot at SAN is on the western edge of Balboa Park. I've nicknamed it Plane Park, and I would venture to guess that planes pass over at about 200 feet over head at this spot. So low that you can hear the wing tip vortices after most arrivals (If you've never experiences it you need to). I realize it's not the best spot to photograph from, since you are directly under the planes, but nonetheless, I still like it. Here are some from a recent visit, I also like to bring my junior plane spotters in training with me!
This is from the Red Bull Air Races, got word a 747 was coming into SAN (Which sadly is a rare site), and i had the wife run down to snap a few photos while i was at work. Not bad for the rookie.
I had a doctors appointment at Balboa Naval Hospital and I parked on the top level of the parking structure and got these pics.

There are a Ton of different places to watch arrivals at KSAN. Here is a List of 3 spots I have visited, with shots from each spot.
1- There is a small parking lot where the Coast guard planes used to cross Harbor drive. Best way to get there is to take Laurel, and when it mergers with Harbor stay right. It's a decent spot, but light poles can get in your way and ruining shots. There is a transformer box you can stand on to help with shots. Also I've been told that if you go across the street on the bay side it is a decent shot, never tried
2- On the corner of Ivy and Albatross, for that matter there are a few spots that give you a decent vantage point of the runway, and some other cool stuff. Only drawback is that there are a lot of tall buildings, and power poles and wires in your shots. But like I said you can venture around here to many different spots, and different angels to get better shots(can't find my shots from here).
3- This is the "Money spot" for me, I call it Plane Park. I've talked about it before, and it is definitely a spot to check out. Great thing about this spot is that you don't need a huge lens to get good shots, because these planes are right on top of you.
Nice Moon shots, Chris

Nice Moon shots, Chris
Thanks, just happened to be at the right place at the right time!
The skies above SoCal have been pretty spectacular as of late. While the rest of the country has been freezing, we are enjoying some fine weather and some awesome sunsets. Took that opportunity to take some shots the other day at KSAN. I will say that although there are some nice colors, it is sure hard to shot in low light.
A couple from Plane park. On the Continental 737 I saw something that looked like a skid plate on the aft end plane. Anyone know what this is?
Nice!!

Couple more from Plane Park. Also the highlight of the day was the largest plane to regularly fly into KSAN. FedEx's MD-11 comes in every Friday and Saturday. Man we need some 747's!

Did the Wing Blow up?
WoW! Any idea how that happened?
To me it looks like heat distortion. That's what I'm thinking.
It's called the Schlieren effect.
Quote from: Dragonskiss on October 30, 2010, 09:43:27 PM
It's called the Schlieren effect.
Well, I suppose to be pedantic Schlieren flow visualizations require a converging lens and knife edge (and a partially opaque screen on which to view the visualization). But pretty much this distortion is created by high temperature exhaust; high temperature creating a lower density flow, and thus distorting the way light travels through. This phenomenon is what Schlieren visualization shows people, otherwise it is basically invisible. Schlieren-ness (technical term) being the tool by which to view the naturally-occurring phenomenon and not the phenomenon itself.
Yay, I used my high speed (supersonic) aero class for something outside of school because lets face it, (at work) Predators are quite low speed aircraft ;)
...and I would say we get that awesome bubble effect on the wing, rather than the standard heat shimmer, because the exhaust is trapped into the wing vortex. With the inboard-wise engines, its probably the root vortex prior to breaking and forming a ring vortex with the tip vortex. But then on that note, the high pressure air caused by wing circulation could also create the requisite density gradient (I've seen this type of distortion off a wing downwash before).
Here are some from last year with my 30D and 100-400mm. I might go in the morning to break in my new 7D :)

SBGrad, where are you standing in the first set?
The thing I've discovered about KSAN is that you can shoot from almost ANYWHERE on the east side and get shots.
The Next Gen and Lone Star One I was down somewhere walking around West Park, bordered on Ivy, Hawthorne, Brant and Albatross. Just find a spot where you have an unobstructed view towards the flightpath.
Classic Southwest was from the spotter's lot.
The Piaggio, Real Blue and Air Canada was from Little Italy, pretty sure it was India Street and Ivy.

The spot you're talking about is still open. I think what you mean is that years ago the lot that stretched down Laurel was open and now it is a parking lot for Solar Turbines across the street. To get to this spot go West on Laurel and just make a quick right at the "Green light that never turns Red". There are about 4 to 5 spots there, and usually a few people there. Only problem is the fence, but if you have a truck bed to stand on that would work good to get over it. Another word of advice when turning into the lot, put your blinker on early, because people behind you are going about 45 mph right there, and it might not be a good idea to sneak on the breaks for a quick right turn.
I used to remember being able to go to the North side of the field where the General Dynamics/Convair/Consolidated parking lots where (just east of where the FedEx planes park now). Even better was that was the Windsock bar and Grill (TopGun shot a scene in there). I loved that place and could plane watch for hours there (although it sucked when a G5 had his APU for 2 hours waiting for the passengers). Yeah seems like SAN is a little less inviting to plane watch these days....bummer.

Saw that a charter 767 was going to arrive at KSAN so I went to get it. Along with the 767 I shot 3 Southwest jets. Imagine my surprise when I found out that one of them was the ex-Slam Dunk One. Southwest and the NBA just ended their relationship, and so N224WN is in regular house colors for the 1st time since 2005.

Great stuff tthere Gotta love that 727 shot.
That is one heck of a paint job on the SW bird.
I was at SeaWorld on the Skytower today when i saw what looked like a C-17 (from my distance) flying into KSAN. Drove home past the airport on the I-5 and saw a IL-76 parked at the FBO!!! Never seen one of those at KSAN. Looked it up on Flightaware and it came in from Keflavik in Iceland (possible just a stop over from somewhere in Europe. I wonder what it was doing there?

Thanks for the tip-- I got it this morning leaving KSAN, along with a 908 AW C-130 out of Maxwell. The IL-76 was headed to Hawaii, not sure where the C-130 was coming from/going to.
Pix later tonight.

Great catches. Do you know what the 76 was dropping off. Thats the one we got at LAX.
KSAN was using runway 9 for most of the weekend again. Serious crosswinds meant the jets were crabbing a lot to make the runway.
this jet is moving left to right

Nice ones. Like my Canon G12, but you have more lens...
Fedex C-208 N984FE Comes into TSP from time to time when KBFL is totally fogged over.
Another batch from Harbor drive over the fence. First, i've never seen Republic fly into KSAN. Also the little Bombardier Challenger wasn't that special but i still snapped it up. It was only later when i went to look at my photos that the tail logo caught my eye. Long story short the GR tail number stands for Goodrich, my employer! Maybe not so impressive to others but i still found it ironic that i was there at that exact time. Anyways enjoy.

FYI, I'm sure most who shoot regularly at KSAN already now this, but this Wednesday (6pm) is the return of the British Airways 777!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. I'll be at Harbor drive if anyone wants to come out.
Well here it is, after may years the mighty triple seven has returned to KSAN!!! Went down to the usually spot, and the word was out. There was about 100 folks packed around a tiny little 6 car parking lot. You would have thought the POTUS was flying in or something, that's how starved for the heavies we are.

Ha ha! Yes, those are the ultra posh condos at 'The Landing' in Coronado-- I live there and I didn't even know they were being tented until I saw this picture!
After an 8 year hiatus, BA just restarted London-San Diego direct flights on June 1st. So now KSAN has a daily flight with something bigger than the FedEx DC-10s and the 767s that fly here.

Where's the best planespotting locations @ KSAN? I'm heading down there this weekend, and would love to take some pics with the harbor or downtown in the background. thanks!

I've never shot from here, but if you want to get the city in the background you can go to the Palm st Pedestrian bridge

yet another BA 777 shot. Used the 24mm prime here, but it was just a bit too much lens for the shot I really wanted, might have to try the 11-16 next time.

Saw a Atlas 747 headed into KSAN. It had a unquie flight plan that took it from an air base in Austrailia to Sydney, Honolulu, San Diego, then to Southern California Logistics airport, a 28 minute flight. Anyone know more?

For all the KSAN photogs out there, FYI, American Airlines is bringing in a chartered 777-300 into KSAN sometime tomorrow..time frame unknown. And there will be a revenue service flight (AAL 12) leaving at 9 am to JFK on Sunday morning.

...and the Yankees will be flying out on Sunday afternooon, Delta is their airline partner. Usually overnight/multiday charters park over by the FedEx jets, but I didn't see anything over there on the way home this evening. Lots of parking space at T2, it might be there, or else Delta isn't keeping the jet in SD all weekend.
Weather was better when it landed.

Last night I went to catch FedEx's MD-10. However, I didn't give myself enough time to get down by the Coast Guard station to set up, so I went to the park near the Air and Space Museum. I forgot the planes flight path puts them almost right over the museum. But here's what I got...

Some from last week
How many KSAN photographers are in San Diego? How about we have a meet up some day, shoot and get to know each other.
I shoot KSAN from time to time, I wouldn't mind a KSAN event.
BTW, I drove by KSAN on Saturday and there was a military grey A330 sitting on the North ramp. Anyone know anything about it?
more KSAN
and yet some more
and lastly

I'm here, live out in Santee. Kind of tied up as a caregiver for my mother right now, get an hour here and there to run out and shoot.
As for as the military looking A330, I saw an Royal Australian Air Force jet had landed at Lindbergh over the weekend...
after mom's illness runs it's course we should do some shooting together...

Duane don't forget to take time for yourself too when possible. Being a caregiver is very hard on a person. Hope all works our for your mom.
got a few hours last week to myself, so went to NTC Park near Liberty Station to get the departure of the Hawaiian Airlines flight, plus a few others...here's the first one...
also, if you're on good ol' Facebook, I've created a San Diego Aviation Spotters page. It's not just for Lindbergh...I know there appears to already have been a page created, but it appears dormant...

Just a heads up to everyone, I've heard that the New York Jets are flying in tomorrow on a United 787. Flight UA1827 scheduled to arrive at 5:30
I'm also being told it will be United's only 787-9!
It was an hour late, but I am very glad I left Miramar after the F-35B demo.

According to Flightaware, it was on the ground about 2 hours, then flew a 26 minute hop to LAX and went right back to its normal LA-Houston-Newark rotation.
More Flightaware, the plane is scheduled to fly to LAX on Sunday, arriving at 3:55. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N38950
