How to Shop the Friday Doorbusters Specials at Best Buy
Hoping to get in on the amazing deals at Best Buy on Friday, November 23? You'll need to get there early in the morning, way before the stores open at 5 a.m.
Here are a few things to know before you go:
Prior to opening, a line of customers will form outside the store.
Starting at 3 a.m., with the front of the line, employees will hand out tickets to customers for Doorbuster and Bonus Doorbuster products (these are the front cover and BestBuy.com limited-quantity items, excluding CDs, DVDs and video game software).
The tickets, limited to 1 ticket per customer per item, will grant you the ability to buy the Doorbuster items.
These tickets are valid for a limited time. The products requiring a ticket must be purchased, or in your hand, by 9 a.m. This is when the remaining inventory, if available, will be released to the general public.
We are unable to guarantee all customers in line will receive a ticket. See Customer Specialist for details.
I've never done that before but it would be cool standing outside at 3am lol. Camping outside a store sounds weird though :D
Just went by Best Buy in Torrance, the line is about 25 deep. Last year I got there around 3:30 AM and the line was half way around the building. This year I will try to make it by 3:00 AM.

Just got back from Black Friday. Got in line at best by by 2:00 AM. Line still half way around the building. I think people have gone nuts!! :o A very cool Black Friday. Camera related equipment: San Disk Ultra 2 - 4GB compact flash card for $34.98 at staples.
100 pack DVD-R Disks for $6.99 at best buy, got 5.
Seagate 650GB Hard Disk $109.99 at Fry?s online only sale, got 2.
I think I am ready for airshow season 2008! ;D
Also note as of 3:00 PM Fry?s in Manhattan Beach still had a large quantity of 320GB Maxtor hard drives for $49.99 each?? ;)
