Here's just three I had a chance to grab before leaving Lowes.
First two shows a stall and NEAR tail strike of a Cessna.
Last Fri I was at the Medical Center watching the pattern come in from the West.
Neat view.

One tip that I've learned is paying attention to how I stand. I try to stand so that my torso is parallel to the runway. That way I am standing in the most comfortable position when the aircraft is in the sweet spot. I can catch a whole sequence and don't have to move my feet. The tendancy is to face an incoming aircraft which puts your legs sort of perpendicular to the runway. If you stand perpendicular to the runway you are shooting to your side at the sweet spot and have to move your body to get an aircaft in the last half. Eh, I still lose alot more than I win.
Kind of like a follow thru for batting, tennis or golf but we get lucky sometimes and not, alot of the time.... ;D
Im still working on it too... :D ;)
