I currently lost my laptop due to a recall. So I am haffting to use the library computers for the time being, probably for 3 months. I will do my best to keep on top of things. I only get 60 mins per day of usage here.
Ouch...

Would actually be computer number 4, each time it comes out cheaper and better.
Always best to build your own ;)
Me too now, can't connect at home. Not sure if virus or due to upgrading to AVG 8.0 setting got tweaked. Brother in law is going to look at it today hopefully. So work here is the only access for now.

I also use tigerdirect for computer parts. Freys stores are quicker if you need to build something right away. see also www.outpost.com

No worries, Black Friday is coming <rob>
Josh can you repost the Vista related info for the DSN stuff? Thanks
I found the print of what you said to try Josh and no luck. May try one more time but going to check with the guys at this little shop next to Lomita Magnet School and see of they can fix it. This has gone on way too long.

Whats the name of the shop? I might know someone who works there ;)
Not sure but just off off Narbonne one block south of Lomita Blvd and shares parking with two dance studios. Let me know going there today or at least stopping to ask if the can fix the problem.
Here is a link to the one I know of.

Yep, good maintenance. Keeps you HD in good order.
You should also run error checking on a regular basis, checks the HD for error's and bad sectors <prog>
