Welcome to the group akradecki, if you don't mind, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself.
Hi and thanks. Ok, a little about myself...my day job is as a helo mech for Mercy Air at Mojave. I've worked at various companies at MHV for about 8 years now. As a somewhat OCD photographer and historian, I started documenting the amazing activities there, and in 2005 published a book on it, A Mojave Scrapbook. It got good reviews, but the small local publisher that published it went out of business. Go figure. It was originally billed as "Vol. 1", and I've easily got enough material for a couple more volumes, but I haven't seriously gone looking for a more solid publisher. I grew up in a jounalism home, so naturally I've tended in that direction. I've contributed images to a number of different publications, including AW&ST, Aerotech News, AV Press, and currently I'm writing and shooting as a freelancer for Flight International and their web branch, Flightglobal.com. I also blog about Mojave at Mojave Skies (url in my sig). I use an Olympus SP-550UZ, mainly because handling a full SLR with a 500 mm lens in a helo cockpit is unrealistic. If I've missed anything, feel free to ask!
