Title: Camera shoulder rigs
Post by: eightball on March 06, 2015, 06:33:32 PM
I'm debating on getting a Black Rapid dual shoulder rig for the next LA County Air Show, are they worth getting. I will be using two cameras and wondering if any of you use them and how you like them. Any recomendations on a rig.

I would like the info also. I was able to get 2 bodies of the same make of my camera on eBay, so now have the compliments to the primary and don't have to flip lenses during an airshow.

I was talking to Craig Rembold today at the Planes of Fame, he was wearing the BlackRapid Double Strap and said he loved it. He was using two full frame Nikons and said it was comfortable wear and easy access to his cameras, the weight distribution was great and he has had no problems with the design. It sounds like a pretty good rig.

Never had the twin version but had to singles with the adapter.  It worked pretty well but the double one you speak of would be better.  Glen Tagami used it too sometimes I believe.

That sounds like a good idea Damon, I have the single and it would be cheaper to just buy another one with the chest strap. The double BlackRapid is $134.00 at B&H.
