Our nation's men and women of the military forces have defended our country, insured our freedom, and upheld the beliefs and principles that this great nation was built on. In May 2014, the City of Torrance will continue its long-standing tradition in its 55th consecutive year of hosting an Armed Forces Day Celebration and Parade to honor the sacrifices of our nation's military. This year, the City will once again honor the men and women of our nation's military with a three-day celebration that will begin on Friday, May 16, and continue through Sunday, May 18. The Parade highlight will be on Saturday, May 17, and this year's honored branch is the United States Navy. The City of Torrance is proud to help honor and thank the men and women of our nation's Armed Forces! Stay tuned for more information regarding the 2014 weekend events.
