Hey guys,
Was just wondering if you have heard much about this year's Heritage Flight Conference at DM. I'm trying to get a media pass for one day, but I keep hearing (no reply from DM PA or ACC as yet) from others that it will NOT be open to the public. Anyone else hear the same thing? I've heard the Phantom Society was not able to get a rep on, and one magazine had been granted permission, but later had it revoked. This never really was a true 'public' event, but they've had one media day in the past 3 yrs I've gone, and last year a huge number of people managed to get on the ramp somehow, though only two of us were media!
The dates I've heard are March 6 thru 9. Anyone know if these are the correct and confirmed dates? I'm planning to go anyways, even if I can't get on base, there are several good off-base shooting spots, so it will still be fun. Gonna miss being able to stand 30' from an F-4 or F-15 cranking up if this 'no cameras on the ramp' issue turns out to be true.
Have not heard anything. You contact Rob Raines? That was how Red Flag was going to be this year, no media days and now its open back up but limited to 1 bus (60 people)
No, I hadn't thought of contacting Rob. I'll give that a shot.

Worth a try
Didn't know they had one :( Makes sense though, just like the pylon seminar in Reno ;D
Finally heard back from DM's public affairs today. Looks like there will be a media day after all, and there's still a chance I can get on base for it. Will keep you guys posted.
