Title: Snow in Antelope Valley!
Post by: gfydad on January 02, 2011, 06:35:41 PM
Quick heads up... it's snowing in Lancaster. Forecast is for 3"-6" by tomorrow night.

If the forecast is correct and...
If you can...
A trip up to the area can be very rewarding. Joshua Trees in and of themselves are very interesting subjects, but Joshuas covered in snow are awesome!

Just be very careful as the roads (if open) are sure to be slick!

This unremarkable shot was taken at 6pm tonight as it began to stick. I'll be without a car so it's up to you adventurous souls to go for it!  :D

It was really coming down here in the Palmdale foothills, but seems to have stopped for now.  I'd say maybe 3-4 inches so far.
