Title: The Future of Los Angeles International Airport
Post by: Wombat_1 on August 19, 2010, 06:39:47 PM
Here is the scale model for Los Angeles International (KLAX). There will be a passenger bridge that will span high enough that an A-380 will be able to taxi underneath. I know one picture is fuzzy.

It is supposed to cost $5 to 6 billion dollars and it is supposed to handle 79.5 million passengers. Completion is supposed to be in 2013. Checkout this link. . . http://skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=750644

The article is nearly 2 years old, November of 2008. Outside of the expansion of the Bradley Terminal, none of the other work proposed in the article has even begun. Not going to see it in 2013 if at all.
