Title: Unknown Birds
Post by: kick Z tail out on April 22, 2010, 01:40:55 PM
My mother in law is a bird expert, and she had told me what exactly this was, but I can't remember for the life of me. She's pretty rad, she can hear them sing and tell you exactly what type it was.

Anyway, this shot was from my honeymoon up the coast last year. This bird was an extremely friendly little beggar, and it knows it's tourist spot will be a target rich environment to beg at.  <laughing> He would just fly right up to you and give you a "hey, feed me dude" look. It was so hilarious. Then he'd follow you around. This was taken at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park near Big Sur, obviously a cool backdrop. :)
