Yep thats my 1946 Cessna 140 (also in my avatar as well) It's based out at the Fullerton Airport. I stumbled upon this site while looking for photos of Fullerton Airport's resident helicopters. This site is sure right up my alley, I love taking pictures of local SoCal aviation. Being a pilot I frequent a lot of southland airports and I always have my camera with me. I look forward to sharing my photos and info with you guys.

Yeah I have been out there a few times. Last time back in June with my car for the carshow and fly-in and Glen lives close to FUL as well. Looking forward to your photos. Let me know if you every plan to fly in to TOA, if i am free, could meet you down there or get shots of you coming/leaving. Actually I might have some shots of you already at home.

I bought the aircraft back in April this year, and it sat over at Long Beach outside for a couple months. Then my father and I got a hangar over at FUL to put his 1940 J-3 and my C140 in. So far the only places I have traveled in it are: LGB, FUL, CNO, AJO, SZP, CMA, LPC, and Oceano. I frequent these airports mostly. A trip over to Torrance could be in order. I will let you know if I make any plans. I need to get the plane 100% polished up before its ready for its close up <laughing> Here are the 2 taildraggers in their roost over at FUL.

Its hard enough to polish my billet aluminum wheels on my car, can't image a whole plane!! More so a large one like a DC-3.
I updated you to pilot as well since you are one. ;)
Very nice! Welcome to APSOCAL, Nick.
What do you shoot with?
Welcome to APSC "N72922" <apsops>

Thank you Phantomphan, and thanks for the warm welcome. I shoot with just the basic Canon Rebel XT for now.
