Sorry if this has been posted, but tonight @ 8pm on NatGeo they have a show about the Air-Crane, and it looks like half of it is on the firefighting crane, looks pretty sweet.

I am going to try and catch this one! THANKS!!!
Good lookin' out Chris. 8) And yep... looks like the show basically follows Erickson for the entire show.
It was a really great show and gave a lot of info I did not know. The sea snorkel is cool!!!
Funny thing is that I drove up the I-15 between Vegas and St. George, Utah about 2 weeks ago and about 20-30 minutes outside of Vegas was these two huge radio towers. They were freaking tall!! I researched it a little when i got back on Wikipedia, and found out a little information on them. Then i watched that show, and there you go. Talk about your hazard pay!
Did you see the mechanic who got to go inspect the engines while the blades were running?!?!? I mean i know you have to check it with the fluids going, but that would take some balls to do that!
Anyways cool program, glad i found it.
They did a check like that when I took shots of the Hiller Transport Crane and they climbed up and did the same thing.
