Looks like quite a deterrent to outdoor rodents. could be on duty 24/7. great eyesight and hearing.

Looks like it's an adult, at least over two years old. Hard to tell if its a male or female without a reference. I'm guessing female tho. Beautiful hawk.

Yesterday near Bonelli park - I'm not an ornithologist, but I'm fairly convinced this is a Red-Tailed Hawk. First time out with the D7000 and 200-400, its a heavy combo thats for sure.
