Still thinkin about attending this one. What's the minimum focal length lens I'd need to shoot this one?
Heading out in less than three hours for Mather. Brian, I shot last year with the 200-400mm and still needed to crop quite a few. ;)
Here's a bunch to start with. ;)
Great shots Jim! Favorites at the 18's on takeoff, the aggresor superbug, and the head on off the T-birds and flight crew.
Thanks! Plenty more left for me to go through. ;)
Here are some of mine from Sat...........amazing that we got three passes from the B-2. ONE is rare enough. Nice HUGE static display area that certainly rivals the one at Nellis. Enjoyed seeing the USCG Herc in flight.
One of Shayne's Birds was there.....
Another batch...........
A "Jelly Belly" Stearman was out on display...........
A few more...

A few more...
Love the F-18 / C-17 shot. Looks like the 18 has winglets.
Thanks Josh!
That's what stopped me in my tracks when I was walking out. :D
Found it interesting that people were being prevented / discouraged from shooting closeups and/or interiors of the intakes on the blue aggressor Super Hornet.
Hmmm... same idea as the Raptor, but not quite as restrictive.
What I thought was hilarious were the people watching the show from the parking lot. They paid the $10 for parking, but didn't want to pay to actually get out onto the display area........i got yelled at by some of them because I was allegedly in their way while I was photographing the Raptors......too funny. People are strange!
:)
Just stumbled on this one. :D
Nice one, Jim!
Thanks David! :)
Never really notices the camo before....
Here's a better shot for camo. ;)
That camo looks sharp on the Raptor. So sharp it rocked your watermarks! :D
Great captures, Jim!
Thanks! <rolf>
Very nice, Jim!
It almost looks like the F-22 that was in the movie transformers.
Great shots guys ;D Keep em coming :)
Here's a squence I waited for until everybody was gone. ;)
Nice Shots Jim <thumbsup>
Thanks!
What you don't see would be the two security folks behind me on their bikes waiting to escort me out so they could go home. ::)

Kind of an interesting angle on the Buff. :)
