Nice candid shot there...I think this perfectly illustrates what we are all about. Photography is a never-ending learning experience and I just love how you can look up to our fellow photographers for tips and advice. We are always in search for that "perfect" photo and I admire the bond we have here at APSC. Cheers to our "brotherhood". Thanks for sharing Glen! <thumbup>

Yes, the ADDICTION is strong in all of us, master. I hold you responsible for the birth of mine. By the way, correction to the photo, that is actually your 30D...I know that you never took your 100-400 off your 50D. My mistake, but I still caught you! Now, let's see some of mine! Still waiting for the ones from LAX. :(
My daughter, Rebecca, shooting the tankers at Fox Field with my "old school" Nikon F-2 (aka "the brick"!)
Pretty cool picture. She into photography as well? That reminds of me of my Canon AE-1 Program, which i still use today. Took my parents' wedding photos with it back in the day. Definitely not as heavy as the Nikon F-2, however.

She's definitely following my footsteps. She's easily as good as me at shooting planes, and definitely better at it shooting people; she's majoring in it at AVC.

Excellent! That's great, Alan. Glad she enjoys it as much as we do. I was thinking about minoring in photography or photojournalism...I already have my eyes on the prize with the MIS option at LB State.
I too thought about photography as a major. But i never understood the importance of having a degree in photography. But now i am a civil engineer major...hah
Robert searching for the Qatar C-17 southeast of KLGB. It was supposed to be airborne for '2 hours' according to Boeing engineers, but never made it back before we had to head off. The heat was blazing that day, but definitely worth the effort to catch her.
