I SEE YOU WERE PRACTICING YOUR PANNING SHOTS......ALWAYS A CHALLENGE. COOL PICS.

You've got those panning shots down, my friend.   Excellent  <thumbsup>.  I second robin990's comment, I was trying to shoot with Av mode yesterday at LAX...stopped down the lens to about f10 so everything would be sharp and it yielded a lower shutter speed to get motion blur, but I didn't get very many keepers.  >:(  I wish I could've been there, but getting out of work on such short notice....impossible.<whip> Thanks for the heads up though, hopefully you can make it down to Costa Mesa today.

Well, its like a win/win stituation. Twr @ Miramar is closed on saturdays and opens after 2pm on Sundays if Los Alamitos main rwy was open they would operate out of there but, their main Runway is still fouled! ::)  if the F-18 & Helo sqdns have a weekend sched. (local sorties)( over  water W291,Desert(TNP) etc., they will operate from places like Long Beach, Brown field (Sd), El Centro, Williams Gateway(AZ), Las Vegas Mc Carran intl, etc...  when operating @ Civil fields they will use the FBO Signature flight support/aviation,The pilots prefer  using  Las vegas, Palm springs and Long Beach,to stage out of , because of the relaxed environment, Good Food, Internet, free Courtesy car,Kick back in the pilots lounge and watch TV, while in between sorties a luxury pilots dont get while  @ DoD. WIN!..... The best part about this for us is that We  <apsocals> and other photographers in various locations metioned get the enjoyment of seeing & watching our TAX$$$$ @ WORK!,Photographing,A piece of mind (for the ones who need that Fighter FIX!) <rocker> <rocker> <rocker>also for the folks that have not had a chance to photograph  these aircraft,  and a AWESOME!reason for an  <apsocals>&friends Gathering! WIN! 8)

WIN/WIN  <cheers> <rob> <cheers>
