Original Article:
The Museum's staff and volunteers are excited about the move of a retired Evergreen B747-100 to its new place in front of the Evergreen IMAX Theater. The only viewing area for this event will be on the grass directly in front of the Evergreen Helicopter Inc.'s (EHI) building. Please arrive prior to 4:40 a.m. if you wish to park in their parking lot. No cars will be admitted to the EHI parking lot after that time. Highway 18 will then be closed from 5-6 a.m.

Construction has been under way for the last month in order for the retired B747 to easily reach its resting spot in front of the Evergreen IMAX Theater.

Evergreen has 12 747's including the tanker, and is going strong. Del Smith is now buying old 747-400's
