Title: London Biggin Hill 2009
Post by: snapperbaz on July 15, 2009, 01:32:53 PM
Ok guys, here's my first "real" posting. As you know I havn't done a US' show as yet but hopefully will do next year and can't wait. Saying that Iv'e done the NBAA Biz show a good few times in Orlando and will this Oct' ...I'll post a few from last year in a sec'!  I work in the tower at Biggin Hill in Kent...about 45 mins from my house here in Essex. Biggin is famous for it's huge roll in the "Battle of Britain" where the Spit's and Hurrican's were based as was the busiest airfield during the second world war. It is the UK's busiest airport (when the weather is fine) and holds an airshow every year and is one of the UK's longest running shows. This year wasn't the best with a huge lack of current jet fighters-with just a couple of RAF types seen and a static French AF Alphajet...here's just a few shots from the show this year!

Cheers,

Baz
