Very cool Eric, I'm pretty sure you are going to have alot of fun with that camera. Howlong have you been doing this?
Welcome Eric, long time no see. Amateur photographer, don?t think so, love you work! Notice the avatar, we were standing together when it was taken. Do you remember the air show? It was this year! ;)

Have heard the Mark III has issues regarding auto focus. This sucks for us Canon users.
Was going to buy one, but I will wait until they fix this problem :'(
Fernando, I am actually going to still keep my D2x and use it for wildlife and airshows since I can use the HSC (Hi Speed Crop) mode ...
Sure Midnight am a amatuer since I am not making any money on my photography... Yep know the Avatar, shot at Pt. Mugu. I am still working on processing those shots.. Alomst done though...
Nice! :)

Maybe in another year or so. First I need what will replace the 5D. Need full frame. Hoping the spec?s will be at least 5 FPS and 16 MP, it would almost make the ideal airshow camera. If I had $8,000.00 I would get the 1Ds Mark III. But, like most of you I am still waiting to win the lottery ;)

Me too, but still processing many other airshows. The Reno Airraces for example I took over 16,000 frames. I wish I had more time to devote to this, but have pay the bills :'(
16,000 frames!?!?!? :o
Yes, my camera that is not even 1 year old has about 40,000 frames on it so far. I believe the 30D will do about a 100,000 or so before it <tomb>
Remember, shooting a lot helps facilitate the purchase of new camera gear <whip>
Save a camera, shoot some guns. :P
I have that hobby too. Same problem ;D
