The wife is wanting one to view internet, online video, school work, etc. Not really for photos, but..... Any suggestions. Would like to stay PC. Sorry MAC.

Brother-in-law recommeded this one. But also need to see what the wife wants to spend on it since she will be using it the most.

Agree here, what is your target price? I know of some good ones for around $800 or so. Do you need 32bit or 64 operating sys? Also recommend AMD instead of Intel (personal preference) runs cooler 8).
Working on a new build myself, will post soon but starts at 3.0GHz and glows in the dark ;D
