This truck was at The 2009 Good Guys Del Mar Nationals. Some one put a lot of effort into the restoration.

This red 1957 GMC panel truck was at The 2009 Good Guys Del Mar Nationals was purchased new by the Orange County Fire Department as a Pumper Truck. It was in service from 1957 until 1990 when it was placed in storage. A Santa Ana couple purchased it in February 1993 at a Orange County auction for $1,000. It had 29,000 original miles on the 292 CID inline 6 engine. Now the truck has a 502 Chevy in it, polished aluminum wheels and a nice bluish-red paint job plus a host of other upgades.

Yes one did! Were you in it? I did not photograph it because I was using a 18-55mm lens and it would have looked like a speck in the sky.

Damon: I'll look for the SCCCC guys Saturday when I'm there. I plan to be there when the gates open at 8AM. Will take the 40D and  my 18-55 lens for close up still pics.
Weather is to be sunny and warm. Bought My ticket online www.good-guys.com

Yeah it gets expensive to do all these shows so I pic ones that have airplanes like riverside and los alamitos and seal beach is just nice and relaxing.  I know my club will probably be in attendance at least 4 or 5 members of SCCCC.
