No problem.  I went and dug out a few photos.



2009 San Diego side-- totally backlit, but I kept it because it shows Hannes Arch just after he had a mid-air with a pelican and there's a rather large hole in his horizontal stabilizer.




2008 from Coronado-- looks much better

If they run the same track as the last time they were here, Coronado is where you want to be, the sun will be behind you, and you will have the San Diego skyline for a backdrop.  Not to mention they charged admission for Embarcadero Park last time, and you can shoot from Coronado for free-- unless you opt for one of the VIP seating options.
