It's supposed to do regular LAX-LHR service.  Doesnt make sense to me without a NZ stop in there, might be a LHR-AKL flight.

checking flight aware for the tail number would be the best bet to track this airplane.

Great pics!!  I'm not sure how far you drove, but I'd say it was well worth it.  Will that plane be returning to LAX??  And how do you check if a particular livery will be coming back?
