Yeah, it was different seeing it land on the grass.

Flabob Air Show 2012

Schedule

Daily Schedule:

•   Thursday, Sept 27th: Fly your tailwheel antique or classic into Flabob. Preregister on our registration page on this website to insure a spot. Fly your nose wheel aircraft into Riverside. All Flabob parking on the grass. Visit, pop a cool one, kick tires. local flying. Camp or check into event hotels. Pancake breakfast, café also open, movies, beer and popcorn in the evening.
•   Friday, Sept 28th: Another arrival and visiting day. Local flying if parking congestion permits. Pancake breakfast, café open for all meals, movies, beer and popcorn in the evening.
•   Saturday, Sept 29th. Field closed for all movements except Aerial Cavalcade. Aerial Cavalcade will start mid day and last approximately four hours. Pilots participating in the Cavalcade will be required to attend a briefing Saturday morning. Vendors, displays, open hangars, etc. Bring your own chairs and picnic blankets to view the Cavalcade, no fixed seating on the field. Departures allowed after Cavalcade clears at approximately 16:30. Movies, beer and popcorn in the evening, café open.
•   Sunday, Sept 30th. Pancake breakfast, café open, departures. See you next year.

Events all four days:

•   Flabob hangars open; view our restoration shops, Wathen Thompson Trophy racer collections, etc.
•   Tour our youth restoration projects; see our kids at work in aviation.
•   QB's visit the national headquarters, meet the staff.
•   Movies, popcorn, beer every night.
•   Possible live music in the evenings. If you're a player, bring your gear and get your gig on.
•   Pancake breakfast every day.
