Taste of Flight Gala 2012

6th Annual

General Jimmy Doolittle called him... "the greatest stick and rudder man who ever lived." In the history of flight, Air & Space Smithsonian declares him to be the third greatest aviator ever. He is considered by many as the founding father of modern aerobatics. This remarkable pilot is none other than Robert A. "Bob" Hoover. Planes of Fame Air Museum's 6th Annual 'Taste of Flight' event is honored to have him as its keynote speaker on October 27, 2012. You don't want to miss ...
this! Read more about Mr. Hoover below.

In addition to Mr. Hoover, the 2012 Taste of Flight features tastings from Paso Robles-area wineries including Sherman Smoot's Bella Luna Estate Winery, Jack Creek Cellars, Pianetta Winery, ZinAlley Winery and Venteux Vineyards. Anheuser Busch will provide a specialty beer tasting and food will be catered by Spaggi's Italian Grill of Upland. There will be silent and live auctions featuring wines and aviation-related items, and up-close encounters with the Museum's rare aircraft and the pilots who fly them today. Check back often for updates on the participating wineries and a listing of auction items.
Sponsors will be able to mingle with Mr. Hoover at the VIP reception before the event.
