I noticed a few museums and airfields had threads related to them on here, but did not see one for Minter. I know it seems as if its faded off quiet a bit, but I know this place holds a spot in the hearts of many. I grew up hanging around the airfield helping out at many of the shows back in its prime. I was probably 12 when I got to guide my first plane out to taxi. I wont ever forget the feeling of being that young, standing in front of a Mustang, and having the pilot enjoying himself watching me panic as he went on and off the throttle lol. Anyhow, here are some photos from out there recently. I have been spending more time out there and actually hope to bring them into the social networking era so that they dont fade a distant memory.
