Saw the show on Sunday.  The allowed us to carry in water which from what I read was different from Sat.  Thanks to the support crew going down the parking lines announcing what could and could not be carried in.  That helped everyone in my area.  It was a nice show with a mix of civil and military with the Thuderbirds putting on a big exclamation point to the show.  Too bad they could not do the water drop  From Tanker 10 closer to the crowd line.  The tough part was trying to shoot the props at 1/200 to 1/250 throught the haze and demo smoke.

Its been a while but my choice would be north side as you can see some of the performers taxi out near the fuel tanks (can't miss them).

Thanks for the info.

What is the best viewing spot on base ( I assume there will be an area on base for viewing)?  I will have my son with me.

Thanks

See if i can start some chatter here since this show is coming up in about a week.

I'm planning on going to the museum side for the show on Sunday, and I had a couple questions.

  • It doesn't look like you can buy tickets online for the museum, does it usually fill up, or is this not a problem?
When I went it was mid day and it was busy but not full/packed
  • It says that there are bleachers on a first com first serve basis, are these worth getting there early for, or will a lawn chair a 20 feet from the fence work just as well?
I had my ladder that helped so its a suggestion for runway shots.[/list]

Looks like it is confirmed that the T-Birds will be at March this year.
