Gillespie Air Show 2011

June 4 & 5

Gillespie Field
1960 Joe Crosson Road
El Cajon, CA 92020

El Cajon, California (just East of San Diego), June 4-5. This is a pretty good little air show in the San Diego area, with probably 10,000 or so in attendance.  Also a great location to shoot at with the sun at your back the entire day.  And the lineup looks amazing this year, I've only seen more warbirds at Chino!  The flying list includes: F/A-18s, Stearmans, Wildcat, Hellcat, Bearcat, SBD, Flying Wing, John Collver, P-51s, NA-50, F3F, TBM, T-28, T-34, SNJs, Spitfire, B-17 (Sentimental Journey), B-25 (Made in the Shade) and Fairey Firefly.  Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
