Anyone go this morning?   A Lakota UH-72A buzzed TOA yesterday when I was at Costco.  So they should be there today or at least in flyby.

USCG landing approx 8am at Del Amo Mall across from Marriott Hotel I believe on Friday and will be static the whole weekend.  No flyby from USCG.  There will be flybys of warbirds from Torrance(KTOA) and the US Army.

Still have to get details, but the MH-65C from USCG LAX should also be on display.

Torrance Armed Forces Day Parade 2011

MAY 20 - 22, 2011 - NOTE - Parade is on Saturday May 21 only

Torrance CA.

MAY 20-22, 2011

Our nation's men and women of the military forces have defended our country, insured our freedom, and upheld the beliefs and principles that this great nation was built on.  In May 2011, the City of Torrance continues its long-standing tradition and marks the 52nd consecutive year it has been hosting an Armed Forces Day Celebration and Parade to honor the sacrifices of our nation's past and present military.

This year, the City once again honors the men and women of our nation's military with a three-day celebration that begins on Friday, May 20, and continues through Sunday, May 22.  The Parade highlight is on Saturday, May 21, and this year's honored branch is the United States Army.  The City of Torrance is proud to help honor and thank the men and women of our nation's Armed Forces!
