Did anyone go?  Finally did they get it painted and restored?  It was at Chino for that last 4-5 years waiting.
I know Gar got some cool photos that are on Fencecheck. I will try and go this weekend to check it out. It is just down the street from my rental.

A-4 Skyhawk Aircraft Lands in Civic Center Plaza

WHAT: An authentic A-4 Skyhawk Aircraft will be mounted by crane atop a 10'
concrete pedestal.

WHY: In 1998, Capt. Dan McCoy of the Santa Ana Police Dept. formed the

the Foundation to make its dream a reality in 1999.
Capt. McCoy passed away in 2002. Through the dedication of the
Foundation, however, his vision moved forward.

WHEN: Sunday, July 27 at 9 a.m. (approximately)

WHERE: 12 Civic Center Plaza
Santa Ana, CA 92701
(South side of Building 12, nearest to Broadway)

and Santa Ana Blvd. will be open for parking.
Parking will also be available directly north of the Old Orange County
Courthouse.

CONTACT: Carolyn McInerney (949) 230-4866
FUTURE DATES: The memorial is slated for completion in early August.
