Redondo Beach will dedicate the new Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial on Veterans Day

The dedication will include a solemn observance, reflection and remembrance.
The ceremony will also include music, commentary and honors to all those members of
the armed forces who served their county. Aircraft flyovers are planned.

Keynote speaker is Colonel David W. Sutherland, US Army. COL Sutherland is a veteran of Iraq
and Afghanistan. His current assignment is Director of Warrior and Family Support for the
Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff at the Pentagon.

The new memorial is the result of several years of fundraising and community outreach in
support of this honored salute to all our veterans by the Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial Task Force.
