Was with the family and had driven by earlier prior to take off.  Could not get my dad to stay and watch  :'(

The story I always hear it is more due to KLAX approach being right there adjacent.

So lets hope Torrance starts up it's ole Air Faire one of these years.

Sucks that Hawthorne got rid of that airshow. Great show. That is where I first got to see the B-2 fly over and to actually watch an F-18 do an arrested landing. But of course all the neighbors have to whine about jet noise and they got there wish.
